Pad printing is a method of using a special machine with a plate that effectively “stamps” the product. Almost any non porous surface can be pad printed, various types of ink are used for different products.
Benefits of pad printing
- Pad printing can produce halftones much better than other methods
- Minimal rejects as the print can easily be removed once applied if necessary, before the ink is cured
