How To Select The Best Promotional Pens

By: Mike McCoy
No doubt you have seen dozens of promotional pens before. Some were probably rather attractive; others may have been somewhat shoddy. Some may have written smoothly and clearly; others may have been clumpy and scratchy. Well, you won't have worries about any of these issues when purchasing promotional pens from a professional promotional company.

All of the promotional pens are certain to exceed your expectations, as they do not stock any merchandise that is substandard. And, our high-quality pens are extremely competitive in price. In fact, we have some very nice pens that cost as little as 9 cents and 12 cents each!

So, how can you go about choosing promotional pens for your business? Here are some suggestions to help you:

-Stick to your budget. While you might want to select our wooden pens that have matte chrome trim (which are reasonably priced at $3.10 each), this may not be very budget-friendly if you need 3000 pens for a trade show coming up. Perhaps you could save this type of pen for a smaller order in the future (for clients, perhaps, who deserve something a bit more special).

-Choose pens that you find to be attractive. Budget is important; however, looks are important as well when it comes to promotional materials. If the pens you select are not attractive and comfortable to use, people will not use them and the entire point of distributing the pens (as free advertising and to keep your company in people's thoughts) is lost. So, it is essential to make sure that you choose pens that you think your clients and customers will like.

-Select pens that are unique. It is completely acceptable to purchase regular, everyday stick pens for use in the office. But, for promotional pens, you are going to want to select other pens. Look for distinctive characteristics: for example, the ecofriendly pens mentioned above are quite unique in that they are made of corn starch. Try seeking out different features or shapes as well; for instance, you may want to purchase pens like twist action ballpoint pens with split rings. These are chubby pens that have rings to fasten to a key ring attached.

-Try a different color. Sure, black and blue are the most commonly used ink colors; however, that doesn't mean that your promotional pens must contain black or blue ink. Why not choose pens in neon ink colors? Or simply purchase red pens or purple pens? Choose a distinctive color (or an assortment of colors).

Above all, there is one rule to stick to when selecting promotional pens for your business. This rule is simple - choose pens that you would be happy to receive and that you would enjoy writing with.

After all, if you wouldn't be happy with the promotional pens, neither will your customers or clients. Check out all of the pens they promotional company may have; you will definitely be able to find promotional pens to fulfill your needs.
