Promotional Holidays

Promotional Holidays

By: Kris Ann
Any holiday can be celebrated by giving to others. You can take advantage of whatever season that it is by having seasonal promotional goodies to give out. Your customers will enjoy it and you may get some new ones out of the deal too. Since you will probably be giving promo items to people anyway, might as well make it a celebration.

Halloween is one of my favorite times of year. There is a chill in the air and you can smell the sweetness of burning wood from chimneys all around. You can put some lovely large pumpkins in your window and give people promotional sweets when they come in through the door. If the area where your storefront is encourages people to bring their kids looking for treats then have some warm drinks on hand for parents to enjoy. They will appreciate it.

Christmas time is an excellent opportunity to give great gifts to your customers, clients, and staff. This is also a good time to pick up some smaller holiday items to pass out in front of your business to passersby during the season. Nothing will impress people more than being given something with no strings attached. Be careful not to over talk, just hand out these great logo items and wish people happy holidays. They will hear the message you are sending loud and clear.

Don't forget the rest of the holidays! Valentines could be a big hit. There are cute little paper boxes that are folded and then sticker shut. You can have the boxes printed or get them in pink and red and have a sticker with all your info on it. These are small so it only take a few pieces of candy to fill them up. You could put candy and a company key chain too. These could even be sent through the mail if you have some good clients that you want to know that you are thinking about them.

Don't let holidays pass by without doing something, after all these are excellent opportunities to promote your business and express your generosity to the community that you do business in. Handing out promotional items without strings attached will allow people to feel that the giving is genuine and they are more likely to return to your business at some point in the future.
